Many used internet to reduce stress and relieve themself from depressive mood. The participants were identified to be suffering from depression, anxiety, and stress.

They log on daily, searching information of various sorts, and enjoying various social networking websites. Addiction to internet is common nowadays. They can’t live without it. Online relationships are very common. All of this activity can be very addicting and can lead to serious problems like depression, anxiety, and other mental health disorders.

Usage of internet should responsible. Many use the internet irresponsibly. They may be chatting with someone, they should never be talking to, checking their e-mails more than they should, or spending an excessive amount time on social networking sites. When you are talking about a computer being used for internet dating purposes, things can get out of control. What your internet usage does to your mental health will depend on how badly you are addicted to the internet.

In some cases, internet usage is the cause of milder mental health problems. You can develop an addiction to things like gambling and pornography, which can be much more mild than the other kinds of internet addiction. Other problems, though, are often more severe. For instance, a person who is mentally ill can spend all day, if not all day, sitting in front of their computer playing games or surfing the internet. This can create a vicious cycle, because the longer they are in front of their computer, the worse their mental health gets.

Irreversible damage:

If internet addiction isn’t the case. This can affect your mental health & have serious consequences. If you spend all day, every day, sitting in front of your computer screen, then that also contributes to poor health. Sitting in front of a computer screen for hours on end can seriously lead to poor eyesight and even damage the nerves in your eyes. In fact, the damage can become irreversible.

Another thing that what your internet usage does to your mental health is that it can cause changes in your personality. For example, if you spend all day glued to your computer screen, then any interruptions in your attention can really affect you. Even small things like having to go to the bathroom or talking on the phone can make you lose your mind and lose your sense of perspective. Once these changes in your personality occur, it can be difficult to change them back.

All of these things that what your internet usage does to your mental health can be devastating. Many people are willing to pay money for programs and services. They hope this will help overcome their addiction to the internet.
